Five-Star offers one traditional session and one junior five-star camp at Camp Wayne - August 18-22 is the traditional camp and the junior five-star is held August 22-26.
Camp Wayne is about 30 minutes from Honesdale, PA. All camp activities take place on campus. Visit the camp's web-site - Here.
Housing
Campers are housed in bunks at the camp site. There are anywhere from 15-25 campers per bunk. As there are no locking doors or keys there is a $20 damage deposit required.
Athletic Facilities
Five-Star has 8 full courts on the camp grounds with a total of 22 baskets on site. 2 of the eight courts are indoor, one is in the fields house, the other in the covered roller hockey rink. Both courts feature glass backboards on a sport court surface.
Dining Facilities and Canteen
Five-Star uses the dining hall on campus. Meals are served family style with large platters of food. Special accommodations can be made for campers with food allergies.
Transportation
UPDATE!
We are unable to supply a chartered bus so Five-Star will pick
up from Honesdale, PA for the NYC campers. Please contact the
Short Line Bus company and you can purchase a round trip bus
ticket from Manhattan to Honesdale PA. Please email

We can also arrange to pick up and drop off campers in Scranton PA at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Airport and the bus station in Scranton for $40. Please schedule your arrival between Noon and 3 on check-in day and please schedule your departure for after 3 pm.
Check-In
Check-In will be at the camp entrance between 2pm-4pm. At check-in each camper will receive their room and league assignment and have an opportunity to check their money and valuables into the canteen (highly recommended as there is no where else to lock up valuables).
Opening Day
After check-in campers will have dinner, their first camp meal of the day, then be directed to their league tryout location, where they will try out to be placed in the appropriate league and drafted onto teams. They will also go through camp orientation and our Five-Star Fast Break Station.
Schedule
The daily schedule will be available every morning at breakfast for each of the following days. On the last day camp will end approximately 11am following our awards ceremony. Campers will collect any money or valuables checked into the canteen. From here we will load the busses going to New York City and begin shuttling to Scranton.
